Just back from school's ExploRace.
and i think i am the driest of 'em all.
the rest of the ppl are either flour-covered or wet wet wet
It rained summore.
For this race, i actually shared a papaya with so many people. YUCKS.

Today my day started at 11.30 am .

my mum asked my sis to draw the curtains, making it even more easier to continue sleeping. i realized i slept for 12 hours n a half (!!)
Ahh....
Back to my own bed again :) Back to taking my own sweet time in the shower again :) Back to waking up later :) Back to sleeping at least 8 hours :) Back to internet ! :) Back to home-cooked food :) ......
Ahh... the bliss of lying in bed for so long AND not getting into trouble at all.

I am back from prefects camp !

The camp is in Port Dickson , overlooking a beach and surrounded by forest.
We 'ulu' city people were so facinated at this.
the dorms looked ancient from the outside.it's the tradisional rumah panjang.
but note : my first time experiencing a camp with AIR COND dorms !

This camp: Is really eye-opener lorh. first time first time first time i sit in the forest alone (Night drop) ALONE.in.the.dark. tak de light tak de friends 4 goodness knows how long.i sat there for more than half an hour i think [butt numb!]
(Sarang Musang) blind-folded,travel thru the forest with ur group.
(Obstacle course)includes getting over a really tall wall with ur bare hands (I couldnt make it ...have to climb kok weng's shoulder) =[
(Cooking competition) involves cooking in the forest.make ur own fire[yes we have matches,i do not know how to rub two stones together laa] n use mess-tin to cook ur rice and stuff.
(Abseiling)leap down from five stories above.there's strings attached and u go by leaps, not jumps,so it's not too scary i guess.

it was fun with all the first time-s . =DDD
I didnt know prefect camps could be so fun weih ^^

Only displeasure(s) : Creepy and in need of more basins, toilet. and the canteen food.

No wonder we all miss our mum's cooking . . . . . .

'til i see that person. ok, let's just call the person 'friend'.i was happy to see 'friend'.i tell myself i just couldnt believe 'friend' is a B*****.well,at least to me.i ran to 'friend',wanting to hug 'friend'.i could tell by 'friend's body language that 'friend' dont want me any nearer.so i stop at my tracks.

'friend' became so insensitive.ignorant.cruel.
it pain me to think that 'friend' changed.or maybe 'friend' did not.i just didnt realize.
i wanted things to be like before.i tried.so hard.now i wonder why trying so hard when,at the end u still fall down into a heap.

There's this place called 'Fu ting' or something in cantonese [i think] had transformed from a teeney weeney store to a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE palace ! Seriouslyyyyyy ~It took up like, one row of shophouses? It's REALLY nice.Grand looking, mannn...

The streeet we were in were like DIM SUM streeet. Yes, dim sum left right front back everywhere ! ! But THAT's the king of dim sum. It even offer proper counter merely for Take-away, just like fast food chain!A loooooong queue there, though.And i observed that every table will have at least one set of customers waiting to take over.so u can imagine how famous this is.I like the decos very much.Simple kaligraphy and several other chinese deco, juz giv it a classy look there.

BUT

We waited .

in vain.

THERE'S TOO MANY PEOPLE. So *sigh*, No, i didnt get to sit in that awesomely awesome dim sum place. =( We settle at other dim sum place [full of hungry ppl too].cheap-cheap nice-nice.=p

Then we began our (supposedly) one hour drive, to one of my fav eating place in ipoh.

apparently my cousin got lost. We passed by kelly's castle,the cement factory(!!)to our very own 'lost world of tambun'.

SMK USJ 12 Sports Day ~

Was debating whether to roast my skin dry under the sun or not.

I ended up in school.
wow.

Last minute they asked me to take over an absentee's place. So i have to run 4x4oom without any training ! I was so scared mann. . . what if i got stiches and stuffs like that ?
The starting i was too semangat --- I ran. We're supposed to be jogging at the start,i dont dare to slow down just yet, so the feeling of being at the frontmost was real goooood . Until being overtook again... *sigh*
At least I got bronze.
o well . . .

For those who dont know, Gavel Club is a junior toastmaster club where we bunch of youngsters who loves speaking, gather together to train this skill and put them to good use through table topics, project speeches, games and stuff like that .Get the idea?

IMU Student Exploratory Workshop !

IMU (International Medical University).

Who knows where is it?'coz i seriously dont.

So yeaa, on 10th Dec,I woke up early.Packaged n sent to Chui's house.

[Ok, mayb not the package part, im looking forward to this, but i really dont hav a clue on what to expect n stuff like that]

IMU was big !

N the T-shirts are catered for both gender!Meaning i wont need to wear another oversized shirt !

u'll see me in the shirt later.

Anyway, i found out that I was put in a totally different group from my pals.We(200 participants) were splited into four groups: 0range A&B , Blue A&B God knows why they picked these colours.

Cora,ju,chui were in blue.n im in orange.i joined the other participants(strangers)n met SAM,a new friend there.I turned my head to see Li Lian n Cheryl,my sis' friends.Ahh, goody, now i hav a gang.

So we went for the first course which is Chiropractic.

U know the profession that got to do with bones and stuff?

K, so we were introduced to this field.Let the pics speak for themselves.:D

We have to play the clip of people smiling, then we decide whether it's genuine or fake.
it wasnt as easy as i tot though.
Then we were explained the different fields of Psychology.

Followed up with Biotechnology.A man came to give lecture,i almost fall asleep in my seat n i think he is aware of that.it is so boring.nvm that, when he is finally done,we hav a tour around their um, workplace?It looked....um....typical lab.the ones u see on tv?Yea...pretty cool.Everything is white n clean.

We(boys especially)are not too excited about this. But it's actually kinda fun !

:PLemme tell u why.
First we are tot 6STEPS of washing your hands. We're like lil children learning how to clean themselves. =P But they say it is essential to go through the process before entering the isolation room.I feel very dirty when they demonstrate.Normally we just rinse with water,but this,so many steps laaaa~ When each of us hav tried washing our hands,XD,we are taught how to wear the protections with utmost care.gloves,mask,gown,we hav to b careful nt to touch the outer the part etc.

Overall was really fun as we explore different fields of medical courses:-

It certainly is an eye-opener. My ONLY DISSAPOINTMENT is the FO0D...

It has been raised up as the highest ranking of dissatisfaction during the evaluation/feedback session. Sam even wrote 'Pls change the caterer' at the evaluation form ^.^ If u are really curious on how BAD the food is, i'll need a really big space for it....as it includes:-

~Rice too hard

~Chocolate muffin tastes artificial ...

~small portion

~everything is dumped in sambal
~n sambal taste like sugar+artificial chillli

So i think i shd stopped the complaint before u dropped dead in front of the screen from tiredness. XD

Day #3
Competition Day ! But before that, we get to practise our speeches in our respective rooms and groups. I talked about a sad story urging people to be compassionate. Seems like I'm the only one to talk about something so sad. No matter. hahaha.So my lil audience are forced to listen to the sad sad story at least twice.... 0h well ~
N before the compeition, we have all our photo shoots ...group pictures,individual,pairs etc...
We took forever and was called over n over to go back to the room for our competition.

THREE DAYS

Where was I?

I woke up early in the morning, after checking myself out in the mirror to make sure there's no eyebags visible, I set out to Shah's village Hotel.
Day #1

I entered the incredibly COLD room. Both because of the air conditioner AND the super LOUD pin-drop silence ~ Kinda queasy as I found my seat and sat down. Ok, i know noone and noone seems to be talking.Even when the coordinators greet us good morning, we all replied with just a murmur. I guess most of 'em are being 'kidnapped n dragged here' as described by one of the coordinators.
The session started off by us inroducing our 'neighbours' .I was thinking,' O, Finally...Some talking is going on' So that's how I know my very first friend there, Yu-Jun, =D
U'll see his picture later. More pics on Day #3 =P
Then ice-breaking session ,intro urself this time. Some of us were a lil nervous as that was our first speech. Talking about yourself aint as easy as it seems. Or maybe that's just what I thought.

Hmm... what's next let's see.....
Intro to table topics [ impromptu speakin where we hav to think on our feet on the topic given]
elements of communication,intro to chairmanship where we appoint roleplayers.....asked to prepare 2 speeches for the next day (!!) O.0 went home, buried in my own thoughts.

Day #2

Once again i walked into the slightly warmer room(We know each other already?) Tensed,Some were having their speech drafts right under their noses. Apparently almost everyone[maybe everyone] stayed up late last night for the speech(es). so our mentors tried their best to cheer us up a lil.

Then we split into 2 groups to deliver the speeches.

Discussion on Topic: "What Teenagers Need " I like this topic~
Few more presentations by coordinators, then we're asking to polish our speeches. We can either use the same speeches or write a new one for tomorow. Tomorow is our SPEECH CONTEST.

I know this is funny but,

at the very last min, my mum is convinced so....

I was at Sunway Lagoooon ~

N im gonna talk briefly about it.

But since noone brought the camera

[GERAMMM !!!It's not like we meetup outside school every day...]

so u will have to expect looking at a mountain of words.

So,

We entered the lagoon.After sorting out the ticket stuffs, very messy thing.

N ride anything that comes to mind. Including the incredibly childish ones like the dinosour-bird-thing that goes round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round.

We almost sat the merry-go-round , only to be stopped by some workers.

We're so random.

Ok,fast forward all the rides part.

(Still dare not ride Tomahawk....Maybe one day)

AT the Wet Park ,after slides and everything, we ended up splashing around.

Back to the childish fun.

What i learn from the experience?

If u were to go to sunway lagoon in a huge group.

1.It is hard to get one opinion in everything.(Remember the food hunt)

2.PLAY MORE RIDES ! ! (Value for money~)

3.Maximise ur time there. Can consider going to just one park to have all the fun at a cheaper cost.

4.Plan ahead.Urrgh.we were like zombies in a mall.Searching for something to eat.

5.Plan/shut up when things dont go ur way.[I did the latter, which suck]

But overall we're there for fun and meeting up.n we got sun-burned, i believe.

It is fun all the same.N hoping we will do it again

I was at McDonald's just now.
With some of the Hitz.fm crews!! They were giving out freebies and goooodiesss!! Too bad i went there a lil late, i only manage to get a magazine.... But i like it all the same :)

I played games with the crews and some other passers-by.

Holiday is here.

No more unhealthy canteen food. No more homeworks (Except for the folio.darn)No more silly school pinafore.

At the same time i think I would miss going to school obviously bcoz there's friends.

I went to school, thinking that I'll have a nice game of chess.Inside my bag is the chess board. wei xian is supposed to bring the pieces u see.
When i reached class,i realise he decided not to bring it as there's SPBT books to collect, and he thinks those pieces will take up a big space or something.
So i become the despo one who cant hav her chance to play english chess.limin and i almost consider labelling the chinese chess pieces to substitute those.

Also,

There's tournament in school .=P
Between Limin and Cherie.
It was a major one.
They were surrounded by ppl, cheering for Malaysia. Ok ok, i didnt realise my classmates could be so patriotic. Yupp, u guessed it, limin is Singapore while cherie's Malaysia.
After several rounds that draw between them, finally cherie won.
People were jumping around, high-five here and there like malaysia just won some kind of international tournament.
All the fuss, over a checkers tournament.

After school, i asked around to know what other classes are up to.
Looks like Finnix went back to the basics :Play hamburger and throw paper planes around.

Oh well.

For a moment or two, chinese chess was surrounded by people.One side girls, One side boys, boys against girls.Li Gene tried to make me be on his side but he doesnt know that i hav no idea how to play the game :P

After returning books our bags are so feather-light!! I guess many would bring handbags to school now. We'll see.

as usual,

We cheered and scream when it's overrrr!! (Although tchrs warned us beforehand not to)

MERDEKA!

yea yea, exams overrrr!!

After banning myself to not read four books.

And making myself read exams-related books .

After constantly fight off the temptation to do leisure stuffs like online, Rubiks-cubing and play in general.

And reminded myself to be buried in a book at all times.

Now it's over, I must say it's a huge relief for all of us.

But

Exams ending in a different way this time.

I was raining really heavily.

So exams were delayed for about 2o minutes.Some classes were 'flooded'.The class was chaotic as everyone debated whether to hav the exam the next day or to merdeka earlier that day.

So finally Pn.Vijaya came in and made the decision to hav the exam tat day itself.

Right choice mann... Everyone seems to already hav plans the next day.

After everything, i went home to enjoy

-Sushi, Spaghetti, Yoghurt Drink, Tau Fu Fa n a new sport shoes (!!)

It's all over.

yay yay.

The next day,

only a quater of the Delphians were present. =P

Festival of Murukus-Happy Deepavali!

At twelve,I was still wide awake. Fireworks were heard in the nite sky indicating the start of the festival of lights (n murukus of coz). I hope there arent any eyebags when i went to the deepavali open hse. ^^

Deepavali was really good! (N delicious?)
Haha...
I went to Shevaanni's deepavali open hse. I walked there.Just imagine a girl my size carrying two loads at both hands (Buah Tangan!)under the scorching sun.
I think i made it there at 11.30am , everyone was like staring at me with 'accusing' eyes as I was indeed, very late. 'Poh-Poh',Natasha,Kai Ying,Angeline and lil sis were already there.
[Finishing the last few gulps of lunch (!!)]
Cant blame me laa...they hav early lunch, not my fault.....
So i ate lunch...almost alone....=(
Angeline was then 'pestered' into playing the piano along with shevaanni.
Lawl.

Anways, lunch was roti canai with curry and one more dish which i forgot the name. The latter was yummy , dont get me wrong.In fact, everything on the table was lip-smacking that day.All homemade ^^.

It's been a long time since i last use my fingers to eat.I think i shd go for some practice on that.
i mean, srsly, i know i looked bad that day. (*embarassed*)lawl

Once our tummys are filled, we went over to camwhore here and there. I can skip this part lah.

Natasha was fantastic.She played Hitz.fm Natalie and some gal frm Fly.fm!
So 'Natalie' was phoning the 'lucky person' informing him that someone frm that class just wish him happy deepavali on air and asked whether he wanna make a shoutout/song dedication or something. Impressive huh? Natasha tot of all this rite on the spot.
Shevaanni did the Pn Maligha's voice. You shd hav listen to her !! LMAO!!

When we're finally done with the prank-calling and several rounds of mile tummy aches, we look at the turtles, visit her room and dared each other to step on a glass built-in her hse. I like it mann...
Shevaanni told us tat the contractor guaranteed her family that the glass can hold five adults !!
But somebody wasnt assured.

2Cora's birthday party was real fun too.(Minus out the part when we played Risk half-heartedly)I met up with new friends like Pei Lin , Joshua n so on.

I hav nvr sweat so much at a birthday party mannn! We played Catch .Yes, ur eyes are not playing tricks on you.It's the game where you chase me and i chase you!

We went there for a reason you know, celebrate mum's bday. =)

Your truly went to Ipoh...again.

But this time I brought along my family pet, Ninja.

We wanted to bring him there to release him to the wild ---Where he belongs.

So it was the first car ride for him.=]

We searched many places ....
Hoping to find the perfect place for him to spend the rest of his life with his....
um..
Spouse?
[we are still not quite sure of its gender.But we call it 'him']
Children? (little ninjas!)
Friends?

Finally we found one.
In the Kek Lok Tong.
We figure out that was the closest to nature altogether.
He will have friends (both turtles and fish)
natural food (no more canned ones)
and clear water (no longer hav to wait for us to clean it up for him)

He is in his puberty, so he dirtys the water very easily (body odour, u know)

Back to the topic,
As we walked inside the park, we observed many ponds bearing the sign warning us not to release fish and turtles (Oops! )

Once released on the grass, Ninja quickly scrambled into the water.
Freedom at last for him!!
It took quite some time for him to adapt to the water.

But soon he made friend with a turtle same size as him.They're so cuute!! After tat, Ninja never look at us agian, haiiz....
I hope his shell will stay as green and as clean so that we can recognise him again the next time we're here.
